I'm going to skip the marketing talk here and try to give a brief synopsis of who I am for the few interested in reading.
Unlike many of my peers, I decided to take a different route to try to achieve success. After sampling three different styles of college (traditional, community, & online), I decided that it just wasn't for me at this time in my life.
Also unlike many of my peers, I am not just interested in having money, but I am genuinely interested in making money. Web and graphic design are my backbone and passion, but business is hopefully my future.
At 17, I started Renegade Merchandise. This lasted about three months but was my first venture. Utilizing my connections with local bands, I started an online marketplace for them to sell their apparel, cd's and other merchandise. I also handled the order processing and shipping.
At this point in time, I have disregarded many of my "pie in the sky" ideas to focus on my career as a web & graphic designer. I currently work with RNR Interactive, which offers performace-based search engine visiblity services - a unique take on your typical search engine optimization firm. On top of this, I am always searching for other projects to work on that I feel will prove challenging and mutually beneficial.
